Demi Lovato Returns to Treatment Center to Give Support
Teen star Demi Lovato has become an inspiration over the last year, after she finished her treatment in rehab and came out stronger, then made a comeback with a chart topping album and successful tour.
Now, Lovato is saying 'thanks' to the treatment center that helped to save her life a year ago! After wrapping up her tour in Chicago on Saturday night, Lovato spent her Sunday afternoon at Timberline Knolls, also in Illinois, to offer words of support to the current female patients who may be undergoing similar issues to the ones she dealt with. Afterwards, the singer tweeted several messages about what the day meant to her.

"Today I went back to the treatment center I went to last year, to speak to the beautiful women fighting their inner demons... was so honored," she tweeted. Adding, "To be able to share my story and let them know that it gets easier. Life is beautiful...You are worthy of it" and "Please say a prayer for all those struggling with eating disorders, self harm, mood disorders, and substance abuse."
It's great to see Demi using her star power to make a difference during what is obviously a difficult subject in her own life to deal with! I'm sure it was hard for her to be back in a place that must hold so many haunting memories, but to see Lovato strong enough to be able to push those aside show how far she has really come - we could not be more happy for her!
Has Demi inspired anyone to go out and make a difference!?
