Ian Somerhalder Reveals 'Vampire Diaries' Season 3 Secrets!

Even though the stars of The Vampire Diairies have been busy shooting the remainder of Season three, that didnt stop them from raising charity awareness this past weekend, at the Ripple Effect Gala in Los Angeles, California. The event was a collab between TVD castmates Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham -- who had an impressive list of celebrity supporters in attendance.

While charity was definitely the main topic of conversation, I also squeezed some season secrets out of blue eyed Somerhalder. Check out the interview below where he shares his favorite scene from the season, and also what fans can expect when the show returns on January 5th!

But really, how adorable is he!? (Sigh..)

It was a pleasure talking to the newly turned 33-year-old actor, who laughed when I asked him about the season's highlight so far, answering "Getting my A** kicked every episode, because everyone around Damon right now is much more powerful then him." He continued, "I find myself flying through the air in every episode and it's like, I don't know what I did to deserve this!"

He also described to us his favorite scene from the season, which took place at a dinner and included a lot of very powerful people. Hmm... Makes 'ya wonder who Damon shared this dinner with, doesnt it? Who do you think?

Also, on the love side of things, what's going to happen between Damon and Elena? What's in the future for them? So many questions to be answered upon the shows return! Ahh we're so excited!
