Katie Holmes Rocks a Black Jumpsuit on 33rd Birthday With Hubby Tom Cruise and Suri
Actress, fashion-plate, and one half of one of the biggest celeb power couples, Ms. Katie Holmes, turned 33 over the weekend -- and to celebrate, she hit the town with hubby Tom Cruise and daughter Suri in tow. The famous trio were spotted out at the NYC hotspot Buddakan for dinner looking happy as ever.
Katie has carved out a position as one of the most stylish stars out there, and on her special day, she wore a fashion-forward satin jumpsuit paired with a white lace top... and it's, err, interesting.

Tom did all the heavy lifting -- as any good husband should on his wife's birthday -- and kept Suri out of the spotlight, as she burrowed into his shoulder. This allowed Katie to strut up to the restaurant, and show off her birthday outfit: a sheer white lace blouse, strapless black satin jumpsuit and matching black-and-white T-strapped heels!
We're a little on the fence with this look. We love the romantic white lace on Katie, but pairing it with an equally blousy jumpsuit is a strange choice. The combination of the Victorian feel of the blouse with the Kardashian-esque jumpsuit makes the style of the look a little muddy. One thing is for sure though: we're obsessed with the heels!
