Lady Gaga may be on top of the world, but that doesn't mean she's untouchable. The Born This Way singer is being sued by her former assistant, Jennifer O'Neill, for damages and unpaid overtime -- $380,000-worth, to be exact! According to the New York Post, the 41-year-old woman was only her assistant for 13 months, but her around-the-clock job and demanding duties allegedly warranted a much bigger paycheck than Gaga gave her. A rep from the Gaga camp says her lawsuit is "completely without merit."

Not only that, but details about what Gaga asked of her former assistant are being released with the court filing. The tasks included, according to the court papers, "ensuring the promptness of a towel following a shower and serving as a personal alarm clock to keep [Gaga] on schedule." She was also responsible for making sure that chosen costumes were available -- and we all know for Gaga, that's not an easy task!

However, the personal assistant wasn't exactly poorly paid -- she made $75,000 annually -- easily double (if not triple!) that of other personal assistants in Hollywood. O'Neill claims that she was unpaid for a whopping 7,168 hours. This is all pretty interesting, especially when you look at the numbers. After doing some extensive math (it took a while, I'm a blogger, guys), assuming that O'Neill was being paid for a full-time job of 40 hours per week for 13 months, that means that O'Neill is essentially asking for overtime for every hour she was offduty. That is to say, she expected to be paid 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While surely this was a crazy demanding job, that seems a little much, right?

However, this isn't the first time Gaga has been called out by a former personal assistant. A few years ago, former assistant Angela Ciemny said that she was required to sleep with Gaga nearly every night because the singer didn't want to be alone and they would do their makeup together and even sometimes shower together, according to the book Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga. Well... maybe then O'Neill WAS working even when she was sleeping. Will be interesting to see what the courts decide on this one!

Would you be Gaga's personal assistant if you had the chance??
