We're used to hearing Taylor Swift rock out on country/pop tracks, but in her newest released Safe and Sound, the country cutie changes up her sound and totally shows her maturity!

The song, which Swift debuted on Thursday night via her Twitter and Facebook pages, is the first single from The Hunger Games soundtrack. "Something I've been VERY excited about for a VERY long time is going to be happening VERY soon (and I'm not talking about Christmas)," she tweeted before posting the song. Later she added, "And this is it, the big surprise...Go get it!" with a link to the song on iTunes. Nashville duo The Civil Wars join Swift on the track, which 100% captures the essence and feel of The Hunger Games. Take a listen!:

In the song, Swift sings, "Just close your eyes / the sun is going down / You'll be all right / no one can hurt you / In the morning light / You'll be safe and sound." Does that not totally sound like Katniss (Jennifer Lawerence) talking to Peta (Josh Hutcherson)!?

The Hunger Games hits theaters on March 23 and also stars Miley Cyrus' totally hot boyfriend Liam Hemsworth as Katniss' best friend Gale.
