Are 'Dexter' Exes Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter Reconciling?
Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who play brother and sister on Dexter, only finalized their divorce last month, but it seems that the couple might be giving their relationship one more chance! According to Radar Online, the pair were spotted together at the Penninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills having a candlelit dinner, and getting VERY cozy.
"Michael and Jennifer were seated at a dimly lit corner table, sipping wine. It was a very romantic setting and definitely looked like a date," said an eyewitness. "At one point, Michael leaned across the table and he and Jennifer kissed -- a make-out kind of kiss, not a friendly one. They both looked really happy."
And now Celebuzz is reporting (with pics to back it up), that Michael and Jennifer were spotted out having coffee the next morning. Hmm, based on my advanced deductive reasoning skills, it sounds like these two had an adult sleepover.

I've got a soft spot for this couple -- watching them on Dexter, even though they play brother and sister, their chemistry on the show and playful banter is really natural. And when Michael was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, Jennifer was there through the whole treatment and recovery. And they eloped to Big Sur! How cute is that?
When the couple split, rumors swelled that Michael and Julia Stiles had gotten together, while shooting her season arc on the show. But Julia denied it, and I'm gonna go ahead and believe that. Just because I want to. But after the split, Michael took up with a 25-year-old staff member of the show. That one I'll believe, because it's not a terribly far-fetched case of an early-mid-life crisis.
Well, we're happy that if nothing else, these two are friendly exes -- but here's hoping their creepily romantic brother-sister chemistry will be back in action on the next season of Dexter.
