Demi Moore Enters Treatment

Demi Moore has checked into a treatment facility.

The news comes after Demi was taken to the hospital via an ambulance. Paramedics were called to Demi's Los Angeles home last Monday night and after assessing the star, the paramedics transported her to a nearby hospital, TMZ reports.

According to sources, Demi was placed in a facility to "seek further professional assistance" for substance abuse. However, a rep for the actress stated, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
