Jay-Z Reopens 40/40 Club in First Public Appearance Since Daughter Blue Ivy's Birth
It's been a few weeks since the birth of Blue Ivy, daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z, and on Wednesday night, we finally got a peek at one of the proud parents! Jay-Z was all smiles in New York City at the reopening of his 40/40 club.
According to Us Weekly, the proud papa was beaming throughout the night and was friendly to everyone who offered him congratulations on the baby news. Unfortunately, Jay's wife couldn't make it out to the big reopening -- baby duty, perhaps?! However, the rapper was in good company, as he was joined on his big night by stars like Ashanti, Russell Simmons and Swizz Beatz.

The mag also reported that the new dad was showing pictures to friends from his cellphone throughout the night. I can't help but assume that the pics are of his baby girl, and that leads me to wonder -- when are we going to get to see her already!?
While I'm dying to get a glimpse of this already famous baby, what's more important is that her and mom Beyonce are safe, happy and healthy!
