Simon Cowell and his fiancee Mezhgan Hussainy haven't seen each other for almost a month and according to the Daily Mall are "on a break." The couple separated just before Christmas and have only had one brief meeting since then.
Simon told the Mirror, "It's quite a complicated relationship. We have had a break from each other, and we are still incredibly close." Adding, "I'm vulnerable. It's not on, it's not off, it's somewhere in the middle. I don't know if I will ever get married, but I am happy."
As for saying Mezhgan was "The One" on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, Simon says, "I have been pretty good about not talking about my private stuff, but I got caught up in the moment." Rumors of trouble first surfaced in September 2010, just 7 months after the The X-Factor creator proposed.
Simon and Mezhgan first met in 2003, when she did his make-up for American Idol, but it wasn't until 2009, while working together with Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent that the two began a romance. Mezhgan has now moved out of the Los Angeles, California mansion she and Simon shared and moved into to Simon's "girlfriends' graveyard." Friends of the reality TV judge call Mezghan's new home the "girlfriends graveyard" because it's the same home that Simon's ex, Terri Seymour, moved into and lived in for 8 months following their split in 2008.
In addition to giving them a place to live, Simon has admitted to supporting his exes financially. Simon stated, "I don't pay them off, but if you have been with someone long enough, there is a responsibility. You can't say one minute you can live this type of life and then the light goes off. I wouldn't do it for every girl I have dated because I would be broke."
What do you think? Will Simon ever get married?
