Many veteran actresses auditioned for the role of Eponine, including Scarlett Johansson, Evan Rachel Wood and Lea Michele -- so it's a huge coup for Taylor to get offered the role! Eponine is a spoiled child-turned-street urchin who assists her father in schemes to steal money. She is desperately in love with Marius -- the leading man -- who is married to Cosette. Marius, the man in caught in a love triangle between the two, will be played by little-known actor Eddie Redmayne.

The movie is already carrying a lot of star power. Cosette's mother, Fantine, will be played by Anne Hathaway. Hugh Jackman is playing the lead Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe will be Javert and Helena Bonham Carter will play Madame Thenardier.

Do you think Taylor Swift would do a good job with a huge acting gig like this??
