The cast of Bridesmaids(Kristen Wiig, MayaRudolph, Melissa McCarthy, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, and WendiMcLendon-Covey) presented the awards for Best Live ActionShort, Documentary Short Subject, and Animated Short Film. And they did it intrue Bridesmaids funny-lady style.

“We are here to shatter to common belief that size doesnot matter,” Kristen said. “I hate to tell you guys this, but it kinda does.”
“Yes, but not length!” Maya chimed in, totally deadpan. “Asmy grandma used to say, it can be short and still make your toes curl. And Ibelieve in my heart that my grandma was not referring to wieners, but shortfilms.”
“See, I’d rather have a short film with some heft that’snice to me,” Kristen said thoughtfully. “Rather than a long film that just liesthere and makes you do all the work.”

Later, Rose and Melissa begin talking about perfectlyladylike things like moonbeams and candle flickers, before shouting “Scorsese!,”yanking bottles of vodka out of their cleavages, and chugging them.
It’s obvious that everyone loves these women – they got hugecheers from the crowd and the biggest laughs of the night. Maybe the Academyshould have had them host, instead ofBilly Crystal!
