Well guys, the week is half way over! If you need a little push to get you to Friday, no worries! It’s Go Viral Wednesday here at Hollywire so we had the pleasure of rounding up some oh-so-funny videos for your viewing entertainment.
This week, we have Jimmy Kimmel causing chaos in homes across the country on Super Bowl Sunday, a special TV show theme song mash up, Lana Del Rey taking on The Hunger Games, Jimmy Fallon getting beat by the First Lady and Zooey Deschanel sharing some awkward moments with Kenan Thompson. So let’s jump right in, shall we?
Lana Del Rey Hunger Games Parody
With the Hunger Games and Lana Del Rey pretty much being the most talked about topics right now, it was only time before somebody put these two together. Second City comedian Holly Laurent is dead on with her brooding impression of Lana and singing lyrics like “I don’t want Peeta to be dead/ A pita is a pouch of bread/ But that’s his name” makes this THE virtual video of the week. If you’re as big of a Hunger Games fan as I am, you’ll certainly enjoy this one.

Jimmy Kimmel “I Unplugged the TV During the Super Bowl” Challenge
Super Bowl is the one day of the year where everyone can gather around their television screens to watch their favorite teams take the title of NFL champs and talk about how they’re going to have a blast celebrating at Disney Land. So it’s really no surprise that Jimmy Kimmel wanted to mess that all up. Known for sending out hilarious challenges to his viewers, he asked them to actually do one scary task: pull the plug during the game. Let’s just say the turnout wasn’t pretty.
15 TV Theme Songs in Two-Minute Mashup
Here’s a fun game for you to play! Since mashups are all the rage these days, Glee does it in pretty much every episode it seems like, it was about time somebody put TV theme songs all together! This two-minute video, courtesy of Koren Ensemble, takes 15 theme songs from some of our favorite shows and throws them into one mashup that fits so perfectly. Have fun picking which theme is which. Trust me, you’ll listen to it a couple times until you get it right.

Jimmy Fallon Takes On Michelle Obama in White House Challenge
First lady Michelle Obama is all about setting a good example for children by being active and healthy. Mrs. Obama is in fantastic shape herself, but late night host Jimmy Fallon felt it was his duty to challenge her and put her words into action. Allow me to present to you the White House Challenge. Watch Jimmy get his butt kicked at potato sack racing, dodge ball and a simple push up contest.
Zooey Deschanel in Saturday Night Live Promo
Nobody can stop talking about everyone’s favorite New Girl, Zooey Deschanel, and her very first Saturday Night Live hosting gig. So, of course, she put her comedic skills to work, alongside Kenan Thompson, for a series of promos. Jazz hands, Black History Month facts, New Girl puns, Zooey’s human teeth collection and some opera singing get all wrapped up into this quirky/awkward two minute clip, and it makes us VERY excited for Deschanel’s debut on the SNL stage!
