Just a Day After the News of Her Death, Whitney Houston's Greatest Hits Album is Back at Number 1
Less than a day after the announcement of Whitney Houston's untimely death, she was back on the top of several music charts. According to E!Online, Houston's Greatest Hits album, which was originally released in 2000, had climbed to the top of the iTunes Chart, the Amazon Best Sellers CD chart and the Amazon MP3 chart by Sunday morning.

While it's incredibly sad that it took the news of her death to remind so many people just how wonderful Houston's music is, at least it seems that her incredible talent and the legacy she left on the music world will not soon be forgotten. The Greatest Hits album includes nearly two decades of Whitney Houston classics, such as Greatest Love of All, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, and, of course, I Will Always Love You.
And it's not only her Greatest Hits album that received a boost in sales this weekend -- some of her other albums, including her 1987 record Whitney and the 1996 soundtrack to her film The Preacher's Wife, reached the top 10 as well!
I listened to Whitney's first album Whitney Houston (from 1985!) on a constant loop as a little kid back in the '80s. To this day my favorite songs of hers are from that amazing debut album – especially How Will I Know. Not only is it an awesome song, but it had the best music video ever.
