Katy Perry Performing at the Grammys!

And we thought the Grammy’s couldn’t get any better! Yesterday we reported that Adele had been added to the performing lineup during the big night, but now another big name will also be taking the stage – Katy Perry! Yes, that’s right! Not only will this be one of her first public appearances, but televised performance since her very public split from Russell Brand.

Katy finished up her California Dreams world tour a couple weeks ago and has been pretty much MIA when it comes to public appearances. I mean, she did back out of her People’s Choice Awards attendance at the last minute!

This isn’t the first Grammy performance for the Firework star. She performed at last year’s show and even debuted some personal wedding footage featuring now-ex hubby Russell Brand. She is nominated for Record of Year for Firework and Best Pop Solo Performance for Teenage Dream .

The blue-haired singer will be joining some seriously big names on the buzzed-about night, including Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and more. You can watch it all go down when it’s aired live on February 12^th on CBS.
