Kris Humphries On Marriage to Kim Kardashian: 'To Me It Was Real'

If you were ever wondering if Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries was just for money then the NBA pro is setting you straight! It was the real deal, guys! He spoke to Access Hollywood about his short-lived wedding bliss to the queen of reality TV and explained that to him, it was all true love.

“To me it was real,” the New Jersey Nets player explained. “I would never go through something or do something that wasn’t real or I didn’t believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that.”

With rumors circulating that the million dollar wedding and marriage was strictly done for business reasons – and to make some big bucks – Humphries is calling it all nothing but nonsense. “Money only has so much — it doesn’t rule my life so I would never do anything strictly for money,” he said.

While Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, Kris is devoting everything he has to his career as a basketball player. “I’m not dating anyone right now. What do they say? ‘My girlfriend is Spalding.’” Well said, Kris!
