Nicki Minaj Walks the Red Carpet with THE POPE!?

With "The Pope" as her date/fashion accesory, Nicki Minaj hit the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards -- in a Red Riding Hood-esque Versace ensemble -- and seems to be channeling the Virgin Mary! Hmm, well I can't say I've ever seen an entrance like this before! I wonder if Lady Gaga is threatened by her fashion-forward move!?

The 29-year-old Super Bass singer has a big night ahead of her, as she's up for trophies in the catagories of; Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Album. She's also scheduled to perform during the awards show.

That's quite a gig for this Pope doppelganger. Wonder what the job posting looked like. "Seeking: Pope lookalike. Must be comfortable in high-profile settings and have the ability to behave like a handbag."
