Russell Brand Not After Katy Perry's Money in Divorce!
As sad as Russell Brand’s divorce from Katy Perry is, the funnyman could walk away from with serious cash in his pockets. But the actor is setting the record straight on the money issue – he doesn’t want a dime of it! Let us explain…
According to TMZ, when the couple wed back in 2010, they decided to NOT sign a prenup, which means what they earned during their marriage is split between the two. Since Perry made $44 million between May 2010 and May 2011, Russell is entitled to approximately $20 million dollars!

The Get Him to the Greek star didn’t earn nearly as much of his former wife, but that’s a good chuck of change he would receive. But a source told TMZ, “This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person).” Basically saying he doesn’t want Katy’s money. He’s fine just living off his own income, which is still a good amount of money.
Russell is coming off as a pretty good guy in all this, right? I mean, he could easily take his fair share of Perry’s worth and live happily ever after. But with him deciding not to take a cent of it is showing that it’s not about the money to him. But what do you guys think?
