Standing up for what he believes in, actor George Clooney is arrested outside the Sudan embassy in Washington D.C. The actor was lead away in handcuffs, along with his father Nick Clooney and several other activist, after refusing to move away from the embassy.

Clooney was part of a large group that had gathered outside the Sudanese embassy to protest the country's blockage of food and aid from entering the Nuba Mountains area of the country, as well as its treatment of its people, msnbc.com reports.

Clooney spoke before the large crowd, who held up signs that read, "Sudan: Stop Weapons of Mass Starvation," saying that he wanted, "the (Sudanese) government in Khartoum to stop randomly killing its own innocent men, women and children. Stop raping them, and stop starving them."
