When Mila's parents moved their family to the United States when Mila was 7 (and didn't speak a word of English!), they had no idea that she would become the star that she is. "We came with nothing, and my parents had to work for everything," she said. "The easygoing part of me comes from the fact that when you have nothing, you have nothing to lose." As for what her parents think of her acting career? "If it were up to my parents, I never would have done this. But now I'm 28, so what can they do?"

And when asked about her love life, she admitted, "I don't get asked out. This past year, I haven't been home, so who's going to ask me?" You're a strong, independent woman, Mila -- you don't have to wait for some guy to ask you out! Ask him out! Mila and Macaulay Culkin ended their 8-year relationship in 2010. "It was fantastic," she says of their time together. "I mean, I honestly think being single's great. Being in a relationship's great. It's all about the timing. I loved it."

It's always surprising, but even movie stars like Mila worry about their appearance. She lost 20 pounds for Black Swan and when she gained it back, "it went to completely different areas... I'd be happy if my a** got bigger. All the weight that left my chest went to my side hip, my stomach." Not that she needs it, but would she ever get plastic surgery, like so many women in Hollywood? "I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason," she said. But then added, "But ask me in 10 years... I'm probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt."

Now that she's the face of Dior, Mila is a style icon for many young women. She describes her own icons as "classic women." She grew up admiring Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, and Audrey Hepburn. But she lists her contemporary idols as Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett, and Victoria Beckham -- because "she's confident in everything she wears."
