According to Us Weekly, Brad gathered up all six of their children, Maddox, 10, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 5, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 3, calling a family meeting, before surprising Angie with the 16 carat $500,000 engagement ring.
"Angelina cried and smiled,"a confidante close to the couple revealed, "Everyone hugged once she put [the ring] on. She went around and showed it to each of the kids." So sweet and not at all surprising, considering what hands-on parents Brad and Angie are. I imagine that the six kids will be up at the altar with their parents on the big day.
The happy couple confirmed their engagement, via Brad's manager, two days after Angie debuted the ring at a private viewing at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The source added, "Angie considers herself bonded to Brad for life."
Hollywire will be sure to keep you posted with all the fun details about the engagement and wedding planning, on the road to what very well might be the wedding of the decade. (The Royal Wedding was soooo 2011.)
