Getting her start on MTV’s Laguna Beach and branching off tobe on five seasons of The Hills, Lauren Conrad has made quite the leap fromreality star to fashion designer! In the latest issue of Glamour, she opens upabout what life was like during filming all those years and gives littlebehind-the-scenes secrets! Plus, what’s this about her being scared to wear abathing suit?!

“During shooting, the producers would send us quick textmessages telling us what to talk about. They couldn’t walk through the shot, sothey’d just text me, like, ‘Say something quick about this story line.’ That’swhy we were always checking our phones!” Conrad revealed.

When asked about other reality shows, such as The Bacheloror Real Housewives, Lauren said, “They cut and paste together these voiceovers.But you have to know that these poor editors have to make something out ofnothing sometimes, because so much money goes into every shoot.”

Conrad has always rocked a slim figure ever since we’veknown her, but did you know she’s actually really self-conscious when it comesto wearing a bathing suit?

“On the vacation to Cabo, I wore a bathing suit on the beachfor the first time in years,” she explained. “Usually I’m just petrified. Acouple of years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it was so mean. Itook it really personally. I haven’t worn a bathing suit in L.A. in yearsbecause of that.” Don’t worry Lauren. We still think you look absolutelyfantastic!
