Believe it or not, Mark Zuckerberg & co. paid ONE BILLION DOLLARS for the photo app. Zuckerberg posted the following statement on his Facebook page: "For years, we’ve focused on building the best experiencefor sharing photos with your friends and family. Now, we’ll be able to workeven more closely with the Instagram team to also offer the best experiencesfor sharing beautiful mobile photos with people based on your interests."
