Their True Blood characters Sookie and Bill might not be able to conceive (you know, with vampire Bill being technically dead and all), but that's clearly not a problem for Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer! EW is reporting that the adorable couple is expecting their first child together!

The on- and off-screen loves met while shooting the pilot season of True Blood in 2007. Anyone who watches the show could sense right away that there was some major chemistry going on between Anna and Stephen -- which made their scenes together as Sookie and Bill even more powerful. The went public with their relationship soon after they started dating and married in a small ceremony in Malibu in 2010.

Stephen has two children from previous relationships, Billy and Lilac, but this will be Anna's first! Two years ago, she opened up to Marie Claire magazine about her and Stephen's plans to start a family. She said then that they would probably put off having children for some time. "I have trouble planning anything more than brunchwith my friends," she said. "But when the time's right,we'll do it." Well, I guess the time was right! And we couldn't be happier for them!

No word yet on how or if Anna's pregnancy will come into play on True Blood. With season five just about wrapped up and season six not scheduled to start up again until closer to the end of the year, I'm guessing Sookie won't be pregnant on the show. (Though it would be amaaazing if they could somehow figure some way to have her have a vampire baby, like Stephenie Meyer did with Twilight.) It looks like Anna and Stephen planned the arrival of their little bundle of joy perfectly so as not to interfere with filming! Now those are some dedicated actors!
