Ever since Brad Pitt finally popped the question to Angelina Jolie, we've been patiently waiting for all the wedding details, but it looks like the wait is going to be even longer than expected.

Although original reports say Brad and Angie were planning to walk down the aisle this summer in France, Brad opened up about the upcoming nuptials at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday, insisting, "We actually, really and truly, have no date." Originally, Brad and Angelina had no plans of even becoming engaged until it was legal for all couples to get married in the United States, but with six persistent children, Brad was unable to hold off any longer.

However, although the couple caved and got engaged, that doesn't mean they aren't still standing by their original reason of holding off on marriage. "It's just something that makes sense to us, and certainly date-wise, it's just a rumor," Brad says of their wedding plans. "We're still hoping we can figure out marriage equality in the states before that date."

Who knows how long Brad and Angelina will stay engaged before walking down the aisle...but it's a start, right?! Plus, being engaged is a great way for the couple to still stand by what they believe in while still pleasing their children (somewhat) at the same time!
