Filming for The Hunger Games sequel Catching Fire begins this fall, but before that can start, the casting needs to be complete. This means we should be finding out which actors are playing the newly introduced characters very shortly!

One of the most talked about roles in the film is Finnick Odair, the physically strong competitor that Katniss forms an alliance with at the beginning of the 75th Hunger Games, and it looks like the choices have been narrowed down! A source reveals to E! News that the top three actors being considered for the role are currently Armie Hammer, Garrett Hedlund and Taylor Kitsch, and that we may even find out for sure as early as next week.

However, on the other hand, another source also says that Lionsgate may be looking for an unknown actor to play Finnick, which would definitely be an amazing groundbreaking role. While none of the reps for these actors commented on the subject, a Lionsgate rep says, "As with the first film, we won't be confirming, denying or commenting on any casting rumors for this title. We will announce worldwide when there is official casting news to announce."

Meanwhile, there's still a bunch of other characters, like Johanna, Beetee, Wiress and other Quarter Quell competitors that have not been cast yet either, so we've got a lot of news to look forward to in the upcoming months!

Which of these three do you think would be best for Finnick?!
