Thor star Chris Hemsworth has a lot to smile about this Mother's Day weekend....His wife Elsa Pataky gave birth to their first child yesterday in London, England!

Elsa gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, whom they named India, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

Elsa has stuck close by her hubby's side throughout her pregnancy and even walked the red carpet with Chris last month at The Avengers U.K. premiere. The couple looked adorable on the red carpet, as the proud papa rubbed his wife's very pregnant belly.

In other news, Chris has signed on to star in the upcoming thriller Shadow Runners, playing "a former Navy SEAL who tries to recapture his potential and repair a rift with an old comrade in arms, he leads a team of elite international operatives on a mission against a mysterious enemy," Deadline reports.

Chris seems like he will be a loving, fun parent... Don't you think?
