Okay, it’s official: Cody Simpson is a total stud. TheAussie singer took fans behind-the-scenes for his Teen Vogue photo shoot wherehe described his perfect girl, the perfect date and how he used to write songsabout chickens. You can’t make the stuff up!

Looking back at the very beginning of his music career, Codyexplained his first songwriting experience. No, it wasn’t about heartbreak orhis secret crush. “I was actually seven years old when I wrote my first song.It was about chickens,” he said. “There were four lines in the song and thefirst two were ‘I bought some chickens and I changed their diapers.’ I hope mysongwriting concepts have improved since then.”
