Wango Tango is essentially the convergence of all the biggest names in pop music. Hollywire was on the scene at the KIIS-FM hosted show this past weekend, jamming out to Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj and Carly Rae Jepsen, among others.

In honor of the star-studded show, this edition of My Monday Playlist is dedicated to all the hot bands and artists who brought down the house (or the sky... it was outside) at Wango last Saturday. Check 'em out and have yourself a killer Monday...

PAYPHONE - Maroon 5

We have to start off with Maroon 5, who dropped this Fast & Furious-style video for the song Payphone last Thursday. The song features Wiz Khalifa and is as catchy as you'd expect from Maroon 5. Though we're not entirely sure why anyone would be using a payphone these days.

CALL ME MAYBE - Carly Rae Jepsen

Unless you've been living in a cave for the last two months (and if so, welcome back!), then you're familiar with this smash hit single that launched Carly into pop idol-dom. At Wango, Justin Bieber introduced Carly, which is apropos considering he discovered the teen superstar. And although we've heard it a hundred times and it's painfully pop-tastic, we have to admit -- we still rock out to it in the Hollywire headquarters.

STARSHIPS - Nicki Minaj

Hip-hop queen Nicki Minaj gave a killer performance at Wango, dressing in a vintage Madonna  white leather dress and blonde wig. Her rendition of her hit Starships brought down the house and the video, just released two weeks ago, is a pretty excellent way to start off your week. Though, personally, we kind of prefer the Sophia Grace cover.

I ROLL UP - Wiz Khalifa

Wiz Khalifa stormed the hip hop scene with his single Black & Yellow nearly two years ago and has been churning out hits ever since. As one of the headliners at Wango, he played an energetic set, including one of our favorites I Roll Up which is fun to blast when cruising up to a party, or say, a Wal-Mart. Lesson: Blasting this song, no matter where you roll, you'll look pretty baller.

CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT - Foster the People

Foster the People's set ended up being pretty short at the fest, but we were pretty stoked they were there. The trippy vid for their song Call It What You Want might be our fave from them.

MIND YOUR MANNERS - Chiddy Bang

This catchy track from Chiddy Bang is a fantastic way to kick off the week, in our opinion. There's something so playful and light about this song. Almost poppy. But don't worry, Chiddy, you've still got enough edge to maintain your hip-hop cred.

HEY BABY (DROP IT TO THE FLOOR) - Pitbull

We felt it's only right to close out the playlist the same way Wango Tango closed out its day -- with Pitbull. His electric set was an excellent way to end the night. And his hit single Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor) is a perfect way to kick off the week.
