Katy Perry took the stage at last night’s Billboard Music Awards to debut her brand-new single Wide Awake and we couldn’t help but wonder – was the song aimed at Russell Brand? Showing off her Cirque de Soleil skills for the crowd, Katy hung high above the stage and sang the pretty heavy lyrics. Hm, are you hiding something from us, Katy?

The question of whether Wide Awake is about Russell or not still remains a mystery since Katy tends to keep pretty hush on her private life. But one thing’s for sure is we are stoked for the release of her concert documentary Katy Perry Part of Me 3D hitting theaters this summer!
