Andy Samberg has found his Saturday Night Live rebound. And she’s British.
(Can we call a show a she? Well, we just did.)
Andy’s publicist confirmed his exit from SNL on June 1st after monthsof speculations from fans and media outlets about his departure. And now he’son board for a new television show onthe BBC called Cuckoo.

In the show, Andy will play the title character Cuckoo who Deadline describes as, “the new husband to an English girl returning home from her post-collegegap year...the girl’s parents reluctantly take in their new son-in-law, despitebeing horrified by his New Age-y, slacker ways,” according to Deadline.
Don’t know about you, but we’re pretty excited to see Andylive in a character on TV for a bit longer than a 3-minute sketch! A new-agey slacker seems just about perfect.
And don’t worry, Andywon’t be across the pond for too long. The series is only 6 episodes long andwill be shot this summer to air on BBC 3 later this year. Surely the show willget some American airtime since Andy is kind of a big deal here.
Do you think Andy should stick to TV or should he focus on his movie career?
