For many of Hollywood's leading ladies, bald is beautiful!

Whether it's for movie roles or just for kicks, stars from Demi Moore to Charlize Theron have shaved their heads for a more freeing and easy to maintain hairstyle. But can they pull of the look? We take a look at ten of the biggest names to go bald!

Charlize Theron

Reason for the Cut: Charlize shaved her head for the role of her character Furiosa in Mad Max 4: Fury Road.

Duration of Buzz: The hairstyle debuted last Monday and she'll be rocking it for the foreseeable future.

Not everyone can pull off a buzz, but we think Charlize is rocking it! The gray fedora adds a classy, modern touch to what can be often be a radical hairstyle.

Demi Moore

Reason for the Cut: Demi went bald for her role in the film G.I. Jane.

Duration of Buzz: 1997 

Demi's buzz certainly doesn't look bad, but we think she looks better with her hair as it normally is. The structure of her chin and thicker eyebrows aren't really suited to this kind of haircut.

Natalie Portman

Reason for the Cut: Natalie shaved her head for her role in the film V is for Vendetta.

Duration of Buzz: 2005

Natalie can pull off the buzz, but her fashion choices need an update if she's going to rock it. We're getting a bit of a monk vibe with the color of the top she's wearing.

Willow Smith

Reason for the Cut: Willow shaved her head just for fun earlier this year and posted the photos on Twitter.

Duration of Buzz: February 2012 

We like it! Willow's personal style has always been fun and playful, so her buzz cut is just a natural extension of that.

Angelina Jolie

Reason for the Cut: Angelina shaved off her flowing locks for the HBO film Gia.

Duration of Buzz: 1997 

What doesn't Angelina look good with?! A shaved head still looks stylish on Mrs. Pitt while the make-up she's wearing brings out some of her most feminine facial features.

Amber Rose

Reason for the Cut: The model, actress and socialite keeps her head shaved as part of her personal style.

Duration of Buzz: Since she's been in the public eye 

Amber's buzz remains one of our favorites! She rocks the dyed blond and the style does a nice job in bringing out her eyes. To be fair though, we don't know what she looks like without it!

Sinead O'Connor

Reason for the Cut: The Irish rocker has been shaving her head since the early 90s.

Duration of Buzz: 1990-present

Sinead's buzz isn't particularly sexy, but she never made a career off sex appeal. She's simply going for comfort and if that's what works, then good for her!

Cate Blanchett

Reason for the Cut: Cate went bald when she took part in the movie Heaven.

Duration of Buzz: 2000

One of things that can soften a typically harsh buzz cut is personality, which Cate has in spades! We prefer her normal hairstyle, but she can rock anything with that radiant smile.

Sigourney Weaver

Reason for the Cut: Sigourney turned heads when she shaved it all off for her role in Alien 3.

Duration of Buzz: 1992

When it comes to fighting aliens, Sigourney's buzz is the perfect look. On the style front, though? Not so much.

Britney Spears

Reason for the Cut: Britney infamously shaved off her hair after having an emotional breakdown.

This is not Britney's best look, to say the least. However, we're also aware that she wasn't in the best frame of mind when she shaved her head either. We're just glad that she's in a better place both personally and in the style department.
