Carly Rae Jepsen: "'I Kissed a Girl' Is My Favorite Track"

Carly Rae Jepsen is one of the biggest stars out right now,but how did it feel when THE Katy Perry covered Call Me Maybe? Um, prettyfantastic!

Chelsea Briggs caught the talented Carly at KatyPerry's Part of Me 3D film premiere. She chatted about her hit single and her excitement over the song's big name covers. She also spoke of herlove for Katy Perry's music, her favorite song being I Kissed a Girl.

Carly recalled that super awesome moment when Katy made avideo of her singing Call Me Maybe and OBVIOUSLY it was an awesome moment!

“I was in London at the time and I was already pretty stokedthat Justin Bieber had done one and then Miley Cyrus and that was really cool,”she explained. “And then when Katy Perry did one – I had to sit down. I waslike, ‘Really? This is getting crazier and crazier every day.’” We have nodoubt about that one!

that is also my favorite katy perry song. i hope she goes back to more of those kinds of songs. i still love all that katy perry does but that song rocked!!! carly rae jepsen is cute, she's very calm and collected

MJ changed MUSIC peiord. People call him the King of Pop what do you think Pop stands for? POPULAR Music in other words, he changed music that is enjoyed by the majority of people the most POPULAR music. He shouldn't be tied down to one genre because so many artists of every genre can be inspired by him. I see Rock artists from Country artists from RnB to Soul to Rap artists every kind being inspired by him. I don't think there will ever be anyone like him again.
