Charlie Sheen might be ready to call it a day after Anger Management!
The tiger-blooded actor has 10 episodes of his new show scheduled to air on FX this summer and there are plans to shoot another 90 by the end of 2014 if the ratings are solid. Sound grueling? Charlie said he wants to maximize the next two years because he sees the show as a "swan song" to his acting career, according to The New York Times. Whoa!
What are Charlie's retirement plans? Believe it or not, he sees himself ditching the porn stars and partying for "soccer games and amusement parks" with his kids! "Inside here, regardless of what the persona may be, I'm still the 7-year-old kid in the back of the class, afraid to raise his hand," said Charlie. "I don't want this -- all of this -- to extinguish that child, because it can, and I refuse to grow up." Considering his epic rant at a security guard last week, we'd say he's hardly the poster boy for maturity.
And on the set of the show, Charlie isn't doing much to quiet down allegations of drug use by refusing to take any drug tests while employed by FX! "They shouldn't have hired me if they wanted it another way," he said. "They knew what they were getting. And they know it's not always going to be smooth sailing." Talk about a model employee!
What do you think of Charlie's two-year retirement plan?
