Chloe Grace Moretz on 'Carrie' Remake: "Like a Dark 'Black Swan'"

Chloe Grace Moretz is getting ready to step into her promshoes for the revamped horror film Carrie, but not by watching the original 1976version. Why you ask? Because the updated flick will be quite different!

“I’m not watching it in preparation for the movie because we’redoing something totally different and I’m trying to bring my own take on it,”Chloe told E!’s Marc Malkin.

Well, how different are we talking here? With directorKimberly Pierce as the director, the updated Carrie sounds WAY edgy! “It’s verydifferent. Kimberly really put her hand into it and it’s like this dark BlackSwan version. You’re going to be psychologically manipulated.”

Did we mention that Julianne Moore has signed on to play hersuper religious mother? Sounds like this remake could blow the original out ofthe water!

i'm really not a fan of all of these remakes. can someone please do something of their own already!? yeah maybe they turn out good, but i just don't get it

i'm really curious to see how they'll remake this. a darker black swan? black swan was already pretty dark and twisted if you ask me!
