Nearly two years after separating, David Arquette and Courteney Cox are ready to finalize their divorce. Last Friday both David and Courteney filed legal documents to end their marriage, TMZ reports.

The court docs do not mention a prenup and reveal that both David and Courteney have chosen to represent themselves -- meaning there are no lawyers involved. A source close to the couple told TMZ that "no prenup exists." Wowzers!! No prenup could mean big trouble for Courteney!!

Without a prenup all the earnings made throughout the couples 12 1/2 year marriage is fair game and can be divided 50/50. Courteney is worth significantly more than David thanks to her days of playing Monica on Friends. According to TMZ Courteney is worth $75 million and David $18 million.

However, it doesn't appear as though David is after Courteney's money and seeing that she opted out of a lawyer, it doesn't appear as though she's too worried about it. Both parties however, are asking for joint physical and legal custody of their 8-year-old daughter Coco.

Courteney and David have remained good friends all throughout this ordeal, so it's safe to assume the divorce won't be taking a nasty turn...... Right?
