'The Hunger Games' Vs. 'Twilight' - Movie Awards Showdown!

It was the battle of book-turned-major-movie-franchise atlast night’s MTV Movie Awards! The Hunger Games took home the most trophies, beating out The Twilight Saga. So what awards did each flick take home? Here’s a little recap for you!

The Hunger Games took home a total of four golden popcorns, including "Best Male" and "Best Female" for Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence. No surprise there, right? It also snagged "Best Fight" and "Best On-Screen Transformation" for Elizabeth Banks.

Not to be outdone, The Twilight Saga took home the two major awards – "Best Kiss" for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison AND "Movie of the Year!"

I think that hunger games deserved it . . . because the author was great . . . now i am not saying the author to twilight wasn't but she didn't include things that our children can't see . . . so i think that hunger games was better. Not to much romance or clinging but just enough for enjoyment!

The book that made me think the most is Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher is a really cool. The Catcher In The Rye by JD Saligner, one of my furtavioes. There are also some books by Jacqueline Wilson like Kiss and My Sister Jodie that are really good. The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton, this one is probably the best. I hope this helps you.

Hunger games truly deserved it... Even the books were better. In my eyes, Twilight was a little sappy and aimed at girls, whereas the Hunger Games is suitable for both genders. I'm happy hunger games pulled out with more award, but it kind of evens out b/c Twilight got the best awards
