Jon Hamm and his GF Jennifer Westfeldt became theft victims during a trip to England earlier this month. Apparently while the couple enjoyed dinner at a restaurant in London, Jennifer's purse was snatched right out from under them. The thief then retrieved the couple's hotel key from inside the purse and used it to gain access to their hotel room. Once inside the room, the thief/thieves helped themselves to Jon and Jennifer's personal belongings, Gossip Cop reports.

 Jon and Jennifer were in England promoting Friends With Kids when the theft occurred, of which Jennifer says, "What a mess.. it is under investigation." A source close to the situation told Life & Style magazine, "They were dining at a restaurant and Jennifer's purse was snagged by someone. That person took the hotel key in Jennifer's purse, which had the hotel name on it, and robbed their room. They had to contact the police; it was horrible."

How awful! Hopefully the thief is caught.
