Kate Beckinsale may have gotten her start in drama, but the 38-year-old actress has made a name for herself as an action star. Starring in various action films, Kate's fought off werewolves, vampires and some gnarly bad guys, but in her latest role as Lori in Total Recall, Kate gets into it with actress Jessica Biel. But sorry guys, it's not your fantasy cat fight or babes mud wrestling in bikinis, it's a hard core fight scene. Kate talks all about her fight with Jessica and more in the July/August issue of Women's Health magazine.

Here's what Kate had to say:
On fighting Jessica Biel: "It's not like a naked, porno, mud-wrestling-in-a-bar sort of fight; it's a real fight. I did find that fighting a woman was very different from when I've fought men. There was a lot of 'I didn't hurt you, did I?' 'Oh, I'm sorry about that!' 'No, it was my fault!'"
On being an action star: "It's slightly strange being predominantly known for something that's not necessarily my sensibility, but I've never had a plan."
On her athleticism: "I wasn't particularly athletic. No one ever thought, 'I must have Kate on my team."
On hitting the gym: "To me, you only went to the gym if you were really weird and obsessive. No one I knew in London at the time ever did it."
Turns out Kate was never a fan of exercise until she needed to get into shape for the bikini scene in the 2001 hit Pearl Harbor. That's when she first began working on her svelte body.
Surprising.... Right? You'd think with a body like that, Kate's been into fitness her entire life.
