Picture this scenario: you’re going about your daily life when someone drops a baby on your doorstep. Hard to imagine, right? Well in ABC Family’s new series Baby Daddy, that’s exactly what happens!

Chelsea Briggs chatted with star Melissa Peterman about working with the fun cast and she even gave her life motto. It’s not what you would expect!

With the motto “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade” pretty much being the motto of the show, we had to find out saying Melissa lives by. “Always wear pants… You never know when you’re gonna have to climb over something or bend over or pick up something or get into a car that you thought, ‘Oh wait, that’s a lot lower than I thought or a lot higher.’” Sounds to us like she’s really thought about this one.
