Looks like there is only room for one bride in the Cyrus family!!

Miley's older brother Trace and his fiance Brenda Song have called off their engagement. Trace said, "Brenda and I have decided to go our separate ways. We split up a couple of months ago," in a statement to Us Weekly

News of the split didn't come as a shock to many, as they were considered somewhat of an odd pair. But the timing of the announcement is interesting: Why did Trace feel the need to make the split known just days after Miley announced she and Liam Hemsworth got engaged? Trying to steal his lil' sister's thunder? Maybe.

Trace went on to say, "We will continue to focus on our careers. I wish Brenda the best and much success in the future. I hope everyone can respect our privacy about this situation. Thanks so much."
