Celebrities are notorious for griping about the aggressive paparazzi that have a camera to their face at all times, but some of them like Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus decided to take matters into their own hands in putting a stop to it! So much for that date! Justin was out and about with girlfriend Selena Gomez when he objected to a photographer ruining the moment. Justin got into a physical altercation with the photographer by pushing him before he and Selena fled the scene! It remains unclear whether Biebs will face charges for the incident.

2. Alec Baldwin

When It Happened: June 19, 2012

Where It Happened: New York City

Nothing like setting your marriage off on the right foot! Alec attacked a photographer outside of a New York City courthouse where he was applying for a marriage license with his fiancee. However, Alec said he was merely defending himself after the paparazzo got too close and hit him with his camera.

3. Rihanna's Bodyguard

When It Happened:June 24, 2012

Where It Happened: London

If you're a true celebrity, you let your bodyguard do the dirty work. A photographer got too close to Rihanna earlier this month, so her bodyguard knocked the guy out cold with one punch! Charges are expected to be filed.

Gerard already had a reputation for being testy, but he took it to a whole other level when a pap was following his limo at 2:00am. Gerard got out and gave the guy a shot--just not the kind he was hoping for and punched him in the face!

Where It Happened: Los Angeles 

Britney's mental breakdown reached unprecedented heights of craziness when she started ramming a paparazzo's car with an umbrella. Combine that with the shaved head and crazed expression and she looked more than ready for a room with soft padding on every side.

Where It Happened: New Orleans 

Russell was arrested after wrestling a pap's iPhone out of his hand and tossing it out of a nearby window. This wasn't his first paparazzi attack though. He also had an altercation in 2010 after a photographer tried to take photos up his then-fiancee Katy Perry's skirt.

7. Sean Penn

When It Happened: 1986

Where It Happened: Macau, China 

Sean's attack on a photographer went beyond mere pushing or iPhone throwing--he faced attempted murder charges for the incident! Sean caught a paparazzi member hiding in his hotel room and proceeded to dangle him from his ninth floor balcony. When he was taken to prison, he snuck out through an open door and fled the country! Sean ultimately avoided facing jail time for the incident.

8. Shia Labeouf

Apparently, Shia just wanted to enjoy his coffee in peace. When a paparazzo didn't give him that opportunity, he dumped the hot coffee on him and left!

You can mess with Miley, but don't mess with her family! A photographer learned that the hard way when she got into a major verbal confrontation with him after he bumped into her mom Tish

Woody had a good reason for hitting a paparazzo in the face and destroying his camera at La Guardia Airport--he claimed he mistook the photographer for a zombie! This wasn't Woody's first rumble with the paps though. A photographer for TMZ sued him after a scuffle outside a Hollywood nightclub in 2006.

11. Kanye West

Where It Happened: Los Angeles 

Kanye was arrested after grabbing a photographer's camera and smashing it to the ground at Los Angeles International Airport. However, eyewitnesses said that he was being attacked by the photographers and simply defending himself.

12. Justin Timberlake's Bodyguard

When It Happened: August 2, 2011

Where It Happened: London 

Don't get too close to Justin! One pap learned that lesson after trying to get a picture of Justin and Mila Kunis on their way out of a restaurant. His bodyguard was arrested after punching the guy out and then literally kicking him when he was down!
