Things didn't go too smoothly in Kansas City last week for The X-Factor!

Demi Lovato, Britney Spears, L.A. Reid and Louis Walsh (filling in for Simon Cowell) all walked out of an audition on Saturday when a contestant refused to look at them during his performance, according to People. An audience member tells the mag that the contestant wasn't even a good singer, so his poor attitude just put the judges over the edge. "It was really awkward," the witness says. "You could tell the judges were done."

"I don't think they had a choice," the audience member continues. "They didn't want to waste their time." Of course, after sitting through thousands of auditions, who could blame them?! Luckily, Demi, L.A. and Louis returned to the set for a final audition, although Britney was nowhere to be found. She did, however, turn up at the next set of Kansas City auditions (we haven't lost her..yet)!
