For six glorious years, Buffy the Vampire Slayer ruled the airwaves and was one of the most popular shows on TV. It's been 15 years since Buffy started staking vampires in Sunnydale -- and a lot has happened since then to the stars of the show!

1. Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy Summers)

Since the show, Sarah has had roles in flicks including The Grudge and Scooby Doo and took on a number of characters in the Cartoon Network show Robot Chicken from 2005-2011. She's also acted several times alongside her now-husband Freddie Prinze Jr, who she married in 2002. She gave birth to her first child in 2009 and announced last April that she's pregnant with her second!

2. Nicholas Brendon (Xander Harris)

Nicholas has acted occasionally in TV shows like Private Practice since the end of Buffy, but is most known for his troubles with the law these days. He was tasered and arrested by LA police in 2010 and charged with four counts of felony vandalism. He entered rehab shortly after for alcoholism and abusing sleeping pills, his second stint of treatment.

3. Alyson Hannigan (Willow Rosenberg)

Alyson made another huge splash on TV right after Buffy ended, playing the role of Lily Aldrin on How I Met Your Mother for the last seven years. She's also cashed in on her American Pie fame by starring in a few sequels to the movie, most recently American Reunion. She's currently married to actor Alexis Denisof and has two daughters, having given birth to her most recent one last May!

4. James Marsters (Spike)

James has been working steadily on TV since the show ended, taking on roles in numerous shows including Without a Trace and Smallville. He got married for the second time in 2011 and even launched a solo music career in 2004, mainly performing covers of classic rock and folk musicians.

5. Michelle Trachtenberg (Dawn Summers)

Michelle wasted no time getting back to work after Buffy, taking on numerous characters in Robot Chicken from 2006-2012 and the role of Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl from 2008-2012. She's also been in a few movies including 2004's EuroTrip.

6. David Boreanaz (Angel)

David's biggest role since the show is playing Special Agent Seeley Booth on Bones since 2005, but he's also acted in a few small indie flicks. He remains married to his second wife of 11 years Jamie Bergman, but confessed in 2010 that he cheated on her with infamous Tiger Woods mistress Rachel Uchitel!

7. Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase)

Charisma's most recent role came in this year's flick The Expendables 2 and she also played Tegan Walker in the ABC Family show Greek from 2007-2011. She has a son with her ex-husband Damian Hardy, who she divorced in 2008 after six years of marriage.

8. Seth Green

These days, Seth is probably best known for his voice work. He's played the role of Chris Griffin on Family Guy since 1999 and also created and produced Robot Chicken, which he also plays several characters in and has been on the air since 2005. He also took on several characters in American Dad!, which ran from 2005-2009. Seth married actress Clare Grant in 2010.

9. Eliza Dushku (Faith)

Since Buffy, Eliza has acted in a few shows including Dollhouse and Tru Calling, and will team up with fellow Buffy Star Michelle Trachtenberg in the upcoming thriller flick The Scribbler, set to be released next year. She has been dating former LA Laker basketball player Rick Fox since 2009.
