Rupert Sanders isn't the only Hollywood director trying to have his cake and eat it too!

His fling with Kristen Stewart at the potential expense of his marriage to Liberty Ross may be all over headlines now, but it's not exactly something new in Hollywood. There are plenty of directors who are infamous for sleeping with their leading ladies, fooling around outside of their marriages or just really, REALLY enjoying being a bachelor. Here's a look at 7 other  notoriously womanizing directors!

1. Brett Ratner

Brett had a reputation for being a d-bag long before his "rehearsing is for f**s" line got him into some serious heat earlier this year, but he also gained a womanizer reputation for a hot second after In Touch magazine reported that the director of the Rush Hour film series made out with Sandra Bullock at this year's Oscars. Both of them were quick to deny the story. "There is not a shred of accuracy in their story," they said in a joint statement. "We have not seen nor spoken to each other for over a decade. We both had a great time after the Oscars, just not with each other."

2. Sam Mendes

Money can't buy you happiness, but it can continue to buy you some A-list tail if you're Sam. His seven-year marriage to actress Kate Winslet, who he met after approaching her to work on a play, came to an end in April 2010 and there were rumors it was because of an alleged affair with British actress in Rebecca Hall. Although both denied it, they did officially confirm that they are an item as of last November. "I can't put an exact date on it, but certainly nothing happened until Sam's marriage was over," said his rep.

3. James Toback

It's unclear how much of a womanizer James really is, but no one can fault him for lack of effort! The director of Tyson and Bugsy, among other films, tried to pick up a 24-year-old woman merely 41 YEARS his junior with promises to "make her a star." Not creepy enough? There was more than one woman who also said he made the same promise to them when they were underage! James has yet to comment on the allegations.

4. Woody Allen

Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn

Woody was married to actress Mia Farrow for a decade until she ended the marriage in 1992 after discovering nude pictures of their 21-year-old adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn, who Mia had been raising since the girl was eight years old. Shockingly, the romantic feelings were mutual! Despite the 35-year age difference and, you know, she was his DAUGHTER, the two got married in Venice in 1997. They've remained together ever since, but we can only assume that their family gatherings are still a bit awkward.

5. Francois Truffaut

Although Francois never cheated on his partners, he was known for having affairs with almost all of his leading ladies. This included French actress Claude Jade, who he dates from 1961-1964. Francois died of a brain tumor in 1984.

6. Robert Rossellini

Roberto Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman

Here's another Hollywood affair that started on set. Academy Award winning actress Ingrid Bergman fell in love with Roberto while acting in one of his movies and despite both of them already being married, Ingrid became pregnant with his son. They were both blacklisted in the industry and forced to flee Tinseltown. Although they got married in 1950 and had twin daughters, Hollywood wouldn't accept them again for almost another decade.

7. Warren Beatty

Warren Beatty and Annette Benning

Before marrying Academy Award nominee Annette Bening in 1992, Warren had a bit of a playboy rep. The actor, who also directed films like Dick Tracy in addition to acting in them, slept with a reported 13,000 WOMEN! These included some of the biggest stars of the time including Elizabeth Taylor, Jane Fonda and Madonna. And of course, you probably can't sleep with that many women without being really good in bed. "Out of 10, I'd give him 15," said Elizabeth.
