Kristin Chenoweth may need to start getting insured when she walks on to a set. Not because she's unreliable like Lindsay Lohan, but because she can't seem to stop hurting herself!

The Broadway star and Emmy winning actress on shows including The West Wing and Glee was involved in another freak on-set accident yesterday in NYC while filming scenes for her newest show The Good Wife. Kristin was rushed to the hospital after being hit in the head by a piece of lighting equipment that collapsed and then smacking her head on the ground as she fell! How bad was the scene? A witness told TMZ he thought she was dead!

Kristin was fitted into a neck brace and taken out on a stretcher to a nearby hospital. Her injuries are being reported as "minor" and she is expected to return to work soon. Phew!

This isn't the first time Kristin has hurt herself on-set though. She injured her neck while performing Wicked on Broadway in 2003, then had another Broadway mishap while falling off an elevated stage during a rehearsal for The Apple Tree in 2006. On the set of Glee last year, she fell down a set of stairs and injured her back. Clumsy much?! We're just glad she's okay!
