The prospect of overwhelming hospital bills may result in Usher's 11-year-old stepson Kyle Glover being taken off life support after a tragic jet ski accident earlier this month.
Kyle was pronounced brain dead by doctors last Monday after being struck in the head by a moving jet ski while inner tubing in Atlanta last July 6. Although he remains on life support, Usher's estranged wife Tameka Raymond can only keep him on there if her insurance company pays for it. Unfortunately, they've made it clear they'll only pay for two months AT MOST, according to TMZ.

So what role has Usher, who raised Kyle for several years, played in this? Sources say that although Usher has been extremely supportive towards Tameka through gestures like chartering a plane to fly her to Kyle's bedside, he hasn't offered to pay for any medical bills. On top of that, Tameka does not see him as a realistic financial option since they're no longer together.
However, Usher and Tameka's nasty child support and custody settlement is moving much quicker due to the tragedy. The singer has realized dragging Tameka through legal mud during this ordeal won't benefit anyone. He offered "a majority" of custody and a large increase in child support. The formal proposal has not been presented to Tameka yet, but it's likely she'll accept.
What do you think of this tragedy? Should Usher have offered to help pay for any medical bills?
