Making the promotional rounds for her upcoming flick Total Recall, actress Jessica Biel lands herself on the cover of the August 2012 issue of InStyle magazine. In the interview with the mag, Jessica dishes on her fiance Justin Timberlake picking out her engagement ring, relationships and what her parents have taught her about love.

Being a Hollywood couple isn't an easy fete and Jessica knows that, luckily for Justin, her parents have taught her a thing or two about love. "The best thing I learned from them is that you have to put your relationship first. You need to make time for your partner. It is really easy to let that go by the wayside. It's easy to say, 'Hey, I'll see you later. I love you,'" Jessica tells InStyle of what her parents have taught her about love. Adding, "And you seeing each other, but it doesn't always work. Sometimes you are both working and it just happens. But from here on out, I want to participate in making smart choices for the relationship.

Although she plans to make smart choices for her relationship, there is one choice that was left up to Justin... picking out the engagement ring. Jessica didn't have any say as to what her engagement ring would be, telling InStyle, "He is fearless in his choices and has a real eye for design. And I'll be honest: He has better taste than I do!"

The 30-year old actress has grown and matured over the years and that's really apparent in her relationships. "In my earlier experiences with relationships, I really was vulnerable to somebody else's personality, hobbies, and way of life. But as I've gotten older, I've become proud of the traits that make me who I am. Maintaining my individuality is really important to me because otherwise I can easily slip into somebody else's life. So I'm glad I'm getting better at it. It's a process, but it's getting simpler," Jessica stated.

Jessica always seemed to be quite the fashionista..... Crazy that she thinks Justin has better taste..... Right?
