GQ is feeling the wrath of Joseph Gordon-Levitt! The Augustissue cover boy is less than pleased with how the mag handled his brother’s2010 death. Joseph posted a message to GQ on his Tumblr page that went a littlesomething like this:

“I’m writing this because I have a problem with what theirarticle says about my brother. I’ll be honest, it really made me feel terrible.”So what was the exact quote that made JGL feel so terrible? “…the elder Gordon-Levittdied of an alleged drug overdose in 2010. ‘It was an accident’ is all Joe willsay about that.”

Joe’s response? “Using the word ‘alleged’ technically allowsthe writer to say whatever she wants. The ‘allegations’ to which she must bereferring were made by a handful of gossip websites,” he wrote. “They arefactually incorrect according to the coroner’s officer and the policedepartment. I don’t like publicly speaking about my brother’s death, but I’mmaking an exception to correct this irresponsible claim.” Yikes!

But this “allegation” wasn’t the only thing that upset Joe.During the interview, he spoke highly of how his brother lived his life andwhat a positive, genuinely caring person he was. But did GQ talk about that?Nope! “My parents and I are disappointed with what the article chose to focuson regarding this sensitive subject matter.” You’re not the only one, Joseph! Noword from GQ on the matter – yet!
