New California Law Could Send Paparazzo in Justin Bieber Car Chase to Jail!

A new California anti-paparazzi law was put on the books at the worst possible moment for the paparazzo involved in Justin Bieber's high speed car chase.

The law prohibits the paparazzi from endangering people while trying to shoot photos or video, which is exactly what happened when both the still-unnamed photographer and Biebs flew down LA highways at reported speeds of 100 MPH. And according to TMZ, the California Highway Police is recommending the photographer be charged with that law and reckless driving!

So how long could the photographer end up in the slammer for? Both the new anti-paparazzi law and reckless driving call for six months on each charge, which means he could spend up to a year in jail! What about Justin though? Surprisingly, there are no plans to charge Biebs for reckless driving and his traffic ticket will do just fine.

Unfortunately, that's the power of celebrity. Both of them drove like maniacs like down the highway and put lives in danger, but only one of them is being held accountable for it.

so wrong. Justin is just as much to blame as the paparrazzo. who cares if he was having his picture taken. his life was NOT in danger there for there was no need to run. i hate celebrity justice

justin got slapped with a ticket, maybe he should be forced to pay more of a fine. i think that the paparazzo acted recklessly though. Justin wouldn't have been driving like that if the photographer wasn't chasing him.

Every1 is to blame the paparazzi and jb were both driving recklessly But the only reason why jb didn't got arrested because he's a cleb but if a reuglar person gets pull over ter ass goes to jail

The paparazzo should still be charged, he broke but so did the little punk, shows if you have money, you can get away with anything and stick it on the little man, the punk still assaulted him, how is that ok?? Laying a hand on another human being to do harm IS NEVER JUSTIFED.

I am going to do three thing that may or may not happen you chose the one you want it will be A,B or C. A: They do not prosecute the paparazzi. Justin lawyetr tells the judge my client said this ticket in unjust. because All the 911 said that their was a chase. So judge listen to all the tape and watch the youtube video of the traffic stop. Yes my client was speeding. Where is the paparazzi ticket Judge. They (the CHP) reward them for their bad behavior a the officer said he saw one car/truck tailing where is their punishment for doing the exact same thing and their a Ant-paparazzi law on the book are you telling me that the CHP doesn't follow the laws on the books. Why then we have this law. As a Judge I will have No choice to throw the ticket out of court. B: the paparazzi did get prosecuted. Justin lawyer will have a tougher time trying to convinced the Judge he needs to trow out the ticket Justin has to pay and so does the paparazzi has to pay.. C: highley unlikey. Let's say he did pay the ticket with out any agurement, But a month later these 911 calls would of came out. which inturn that his lawyer files a lawsuit on the state of cal for wrongful prosecution which inturn lead to a FBI investagation into the whole situration and they found out the ant-paparazzi law on the book. which in leads to the state of cal would have to pay Justin back the ticket and damges to name. which could be 1,000 dollar mark. D: nothing happen to both of them. which one where you rather have.

Let say the paparazzi was taking picture of Justin driving. Justin lost control Hits a family with his car. one of the kids die in the accident. the paparazzi speed off with out offering any assiten. Who's fault is now surely not Justin because he was blinded by the flashbug. plus the paparazzi speed off which is againist the law. It call leaving a scene of a accident. will it be Justin fault or the paparazzi.

I think it more of the paparazzi fault because If they stop following him or even follow him two car behind him he would need to speed to get away. I was follow once for about 5 mile and I speed trying to get away. It's a normal reaction. I got lucky because the town I came to had a football game going on I pull over a got the police attion they follow me to the country line and was safe. trust me not fun when you5 do not know who is following you. yes the speed limts was 55 and I was going about 75 to 80 when I was being follow. I see people speed all the time I almost got into a wreck with a guy driving like Justin was weaving in and out of lane. two guys behind me call the police nothing happen to him and he didn't even get a ticket.
