Another day, another celebrity scandal.... Only this one has resulted in death threats for a beautiful British opera singer. Apparently an Australian magazine reported that David Beckham cheated on his beautiful wife Victoria Beckham with Dancing With the Stars alum Katherine Jenkins and despite the fact that no one else had even heard about it, Katherine took to Twitter to deny the accusations. Now she's receiving death threats!!

Katherine's series of tweets went something like this:
"Dear Twitter friends, I've read some horrible rumours on here & want u 2 know I absolutely deny I've had an affair with David Beckham."
"The rumours are very hurtful, untrue & my lawyers tell me actionable."
"I've only met David twice: once at the Military Awards in 2012 & on a night out in the West End in Feb. 2012."
"We were out in a group of friends & it was just normal fun evening out."
"Just so we are clear I have never been on my own with him and never arranged to meet up."
Her noticeably confused followers began tweeting back messages like, "Um, I wasn't aware there were any rumours. Neither was anyone else? Strange move by Katherine Jenkins" and "Katherine, completely unprompted, has denied she slept with David Beckham. Rumours from Twitter only. Very odd."
And then the death threats started rolling in with tweets like, "Honestly, and you all said my dislike of Katherine Jenkins was irrational (it is, and that b**** is getting cut if David and Posh split" and "She's dead when I get her" and "I will kill that s***." Scary... Right?
The threats are being taken seriously and Jenkins did call the police a friend of the star told The Sun newspaper. "She was disgusted by the abuse because it was so sinister and scary. When she saw the messages she straight away wanted to protect herself by getting police involved," the friend said.
Although a select few took their reactions in a more hateful/vindictive way, thousands of Twitter followers tweeted they did not sleep with David either. And fellow celeb Lily Allen poked fun at the star, tweeting, "I'm really upset at the hurtful rumours going around about me having an affair with Jay Z. My lawyers tell me they are actionable." HA!
What do you make of all this nonsense?
